Barbados is a relatively flat island unlike its neighbour St Lucia. There are numerous different kinds of beaches to sample. Along the East Coast the beaches are wide and windy whilst being lapped by the Atlantic seas, perfect for surfers. If you want calmer waters the South and West coasts are for you where you can experience the beautiful Caribbean Sea and miles of white sandy beaches. In the North of the island you will find coral and sandstone cliffs with a few coves still to be found.

Bridgetown is the capital of Barbados, a busy City, where you can find upmarket shops and excellent restaurants. St Lawrence Gap, however, is where the nightlife happens with loads of interesting bars and nightclubs.
